Nomen Est Omen performed in 90% of cases as a quintet or quartet. Several times, the band went on the viable idea of a trio. If in live appearances, a fourth man is also extremely important,musically, but especially as a visual signal, when recording, three musicians who do their job are exactly what you need. Nomen Est Omen even released an album called Three of a Perfect Dance. However, its promotional tour, a fourth member (second percussionist) for triangle, tambourine or drum was invited. A quick scan instantly brings to mind some famous examples of bands (rock, wave or punk) who becane famous as trios: Cream, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Rush, Police or, why not, Trio.
