Medieval camp activities for kids and adults. Live music of the Middle Ages.

The first editions of the Medieval Festival in Sighisoara were seen as something exotic, underground and post-hippie; after 2000 things turned out completely different. Numerous cities that have fortifications, are mentioned in historical documents or simply have access to the corresponding finances, organize medieval oriented events. The number of the camp for kids is much bigger then the one of the festivals. The equipment offered by the reenactment orders, both to the kids and adults, are extremely divers: tents, costumes, pottery, various artisanal things, weapons and armors. In order for a camp or a reenactment act to succeed, it needs good organizers and coordinators. Lupus Marcel Dacus and Nomen Est Mihai Omen are two of the musicians bringing (live) music of Middle Ages into such projects.
