The Light of Old Times / Nomen Est Omen

Nomen Est Omen la Sibiu

Photography enthusiasts, professionals or amateurs, seek to take advantage of that so-called golden hour, which actually consists of two moments on clear days, about half an hour each, from sunrise or sunset, when it is the most suitable light for capturing images. When it comes to rendering the volume with biplane means, we are even talking about sculpture in light. Finally, moments of grace, from an optical point of view, have been and will be; we are the ones who change over time. However, certain things will never change, for example the fact that Nomen Est Omen posed in the picture above in August 2019, in Sibiu, a medieval city (Gothic) as beautiful as it is dear to us. The light of that time seems a drop of the light created on the first day, to paraphrase a verse from the poem of the same name by Lucian Blaga.
